Abstract:

Objective:

To investigate the effect of nursing skills for the patients with renal failure and arteriovenous fistula stenosis or occlusion treated by balloon dilatation combined with catheter directed thrombolysis.

Methods:

Clinical data of 41 patients with renal failure and arteriovenous fistula stenosis or occlusion treated by balloon dilatation combined with catheter directed thrombolysis between May 2014 and September 2017 were retrospectively analyzed with respect to perioperative nursing.

Results:

Through the timely and effective intraoperative nursing cooperation, all the patients were able to tolerate operation well without severe complications. Thirty-seven patients (90.2%) were restored successfully after balloon dilatation combined with catheter directed thrombolysis. Meticulous perioperative care could promote intervention treatment running smoothly.

Conclusion:

The timely and effective intraoperative nursing coop-eration, psychological counseling, and meticulous perioperative care could ensure the efficacy and safety and improve the comfort of the patients.

Key words: Perioperative nursing, Arteriovenous fistula stenosis or occlusion, Balloon dilatation, Catheter directed thrombolysis
