Progress in application of interventional surgery in the treatment of pernicious placenta previa

Abstract

Abstract:

The pernicious placenta previa is one of the main causes of intractable postpartum hemorrhage, in which both mother and baby are put at high risk. In addition to the traditional cesarean section , more effective Strategies for this deadly condition has steadily transited to the comprehensive interventional strategy. These interventional methods are constantly being developed and updated. For instance, the abdominal aortic balloon occlusion is becoming more and more important in clinic, which has been widely used by radiologists and clinicians around the world.
