Abstract:

Interventional medicine is the third clinical discipline after internal medicine and surgery, and is one of the core supporting technologies for China's implementation of the "Healthy China 2030 Plan" and the "Establishing Five Medical Centers in Secondary or Higher Hospitals" by the National Health Commission. However, most medical staff and social groups in China have poor understanding of interventional medicine. The article is based on national strategic policies, combined with the disciplinary characteristics of interventional medicine, summarizes the experience of over 20 years of interventional medicine science popularization in our undergraduate department, and proposes for the first time the "New Era Interventional Medicine Science Popularization System", which includes one center, two categories, three populations, four fields, five levels, and six means, in order to further promote the development of interventional medicine science popularization in China.
