Abstract:

Objective:

To explore the effects of Compressure Drip Injection Alarm (CDIA) in endovascular intervention for intracranial aneurysms.

Methods:

Totally 80 patients with intracranial aneurysms undergoing endovascular intervention from January 2015 to March 2017 in Linyi Central Hospital were selected and divided into research group (40 cases, 18 males and 22 females) and control group (40 cases, 19 males and 23 females) . The patients in research group were with application of CDIA, and those in control group were without application of CDIA. The severe embolization events caused by pressure drip in two groups were evaluated.

Results:

In the control group, 2 cases of severe embolism were caused by untimely detection of pressure drip, including 1 case of severe air embolism and 1 case of thromboembolism. In the research group, the pressure drip was detected in time, and no embolization occurred.

Conclusions:

The pressure drip alarm system can detect whether pressure drip is over in real-time, and avoid embolism events caused by thromboembolus or air embolus.

Key words: Compressure Drip Injection Alarm, Intracranial aneurysm, Intravascular intervention, Thromboembolism
