Study of cerebral vascular malformation with ZTE technique MRA

Abstract:

Objective:

To explore the application value and clinical significance of cerebral vascular malformation with zero time of echo(ZTE) technique magnetic resonance angiography (MRA).

Methods:

17 cases of cerebral vascular malformation diagnosed by DSA , with ZTE-MRA scan, to compare with conventional MRA and DSA, and analysis to analyze the, reliability and specificity of ZTE MRA.

Results:

TOF-MRA show 11 abnormal cases in 17 cases, and ZTE-MRA can clearly show the cerebral blood vessels and its branches in all cases, TOF-MRA display 6 cases without branch, only trunk abnormal vessel in 11 cases. ZTE-MRA can display all branch and trunk.

Conclusions:

ZTE technology used in MRA TE imaging technology is close to zero, to eliminate the influence of blood flow turbulence, can accurately display the abnormal vessels, initially replace invasive DSA examination.
