Analysis of the clinical effect of interventional therapy on the patients with uterine gland muscle disease

Objective

To investigate the clinical effect of interventional therapy on the patients with uterine gland muscle disease.

Methods

Retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 85 cases of patients with uterine gland muscle disease were treated with interventional therapy, the effect and complications were analyzed.

Results

The success rate was 100% (85/85), interventional therapy after 6 to 12 months were examined with CDFI visible and uterine lesions volume varying degrees of narrowing, after treatment, hemoglobin levels higher than that before treatment, uterine volume less than that before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), no serious complications occurred.

Conclusions

Uterine artery embolization in the treatment of uterine gland muscle disease is clinical safe and effective, it is worth to be popularized in clinical practice.
