Research progress on safe use of inferior vena cava filter

Abstract

Abstract:

In recent decades, the inferior vena cava filter (IVCF) has been an important part of the treatment plan for venous thromboembolism. As the use of filters increases year by year, the report of complications also increases, and safety should be paid attention to. This review improves the safety of the use of filters by reviewing the literature on filters, summarizing the development and evolution of filters, complications and preventive measures, and the future development direction of filters.
