Abstract:

Objective

To discuss the effect of using SBAR communication mode to enhance the involvement of nurses in critical thinking disposition in interventional vascular surgery.

Methods

Interventional vascular surgery nurses were trained to use SBAR to disease reporting. A pre and post investigation (CTDI-CV) was performed, and the results were compared.

Results

After using SBAR mode, 29 interventional vascular surgery nurses got positive disposition toward critical thinking, each dimension of CTDI-CV scores and total average scores were statistically significant (P < 0.05).

Conclusions

SBAR disease reporting mode enhanced the critical thinking disposition in interventional vascular surgery nurses, promoted the effective communication between nurses and doctors, kept patients safe.
