Percutaneous intravascular stents for treatment of hepatic artery stenosis after liver transplantation

Abstract:

Objective

To evaluate the values of intravascular stents for hepatic artery stenosis after liver transplantation.

Methods

Date of patients with hepatic artery stenosis after liver transplantation from January 2009 to January 2012 were retrospectively analyzed.

Results

Percutaneous stent deployment were performed in 16 patients with hepatic artery stenosis.During the follow-up period of 1-7 months,there was no restensis or occlusion of the stents occoured.

Conclusions

Percutaneous intravascular stent deployment is an effective treatment for hepatic artery stenosis after liver transplantation.
