Abstract:

Objective

To evaluate the effect of optimizing the emergency green channel on the treatment time of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) concurrent with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Methods

100 patients with AMI concurrent emergency PCI admitted to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat sen University from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the control group, and 99 patients with AMI who underwent emergency PCI from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the research group. The patients in the control group received the conventional emergency intervention mode, while the patients in the research group received optimized green channel clinical pathway intervention mode. Intervention operating room start-up activation time, intervention operating room start-up patient arrival time, the door-to-needle time (DNT) and patient hospitalization time were counted and compared between the two groups of patients.

Results

The intervention operating room arrival time, intervention operating room start-up patient arrival time, and DNT in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in hospitalization time between the two groups (P > 0.05).

Conclusion

Optimizing the emergency green channel mode has a positive impact on the treatment time of patients with AMI concurrent emergency PCI.
