Abstract:

Autologous arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the lifeline of long-term dialysis patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) . As time goes on, complications such as stenosis, occlusion and thrombosis of the arteriovenous fistula may occur, resulting in dysfunction of fistula, and affecting the quality of life of dialysis patients. The main treatments include balloon dilatation, stent implantation, urokinase local thrombolysis and surgical operation, etc. This article reviews the current status and progress of treatment of autologous arteriovenous fistula dysfunction.

Key words: Autogenous arteriovenous fistula, Dysfunction, Chronic renal failure
