Abstract:

Objective:

To investigate the clinical effect and complications of catheter thrombolysis combined with pressure therapy system in the treatment of acute deep venous thrombosis of lower extremiti (LEDVT) .

Methods:

Totally 66 patients with acute LEDVT in the First Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology from January 2016 to January 2018 were selected. The patients were divided into observation group and control group using random number table method, 33 cases in each group. The patients in control group were treated with anticoagulation, inferior vena cava filter implantation and catheter thrombolysis after admission, while the patients in observation group were treated with air wave pressure treatment system.

Results:

Before treatment, there was no significant difference in thigh circumference[ (55.90±4.51) cm vs. (54.10±5.04) cm] and leg circumference [ (44.72±3.45) cm vs. (42.85±6.53) cm] between the two groups. After treatment, thigh circumference [ (44.90±1.99) cm vs. (47.25±4.08) cm] and leg circumference[ (34.25±1.51) cm vs. (37.45±1.84) cm) in the observation group were significantly smaller than those in the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05) . One week after treatment, the skin temperature, skin color, pain and patency scores of the affected limbs in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05) . The total incidence of thrombolytic complications was 15.15% (5/33) in the observation group and 12.12% (4/33) in the control group. There was no significant difference between the two groups (χ2=0.129, P=0.720) .

Conclusions:

Compared with catheter thrombolysis alone, catheter thrombolysis combined with pressure therapy for LEDVT can significantly improve the curative effect, shorten the course of treatment and alleviate limb symptoms. It provides a new, effective and feasible method for the treatment of LEDVT, which is worthy of clinical application.
