Abstract:
Objective To study the change of laboratory indexes in the patients of acute type B aortic dissection before and after TEVAR, and to assess the validity of TEVAR.
Methods Between November 2012 and November 2013, a total of 60 patients suffered from acute aortic dissection and underwent TEVAR. The laboratory indexes before and after TEVAR, were compared using SPSS 21.0 statistical software.
Results The average amount of WBC and neutrophils is higher than the normal range before TEVAR ,so it is after TEVAR(P>0.05).Before the TEVAR, the average amount of ALT and AST are both higher than the normal range,30% of ALT is higher than the normal range, and 21.7% of AST is higher than the normal range. Both the ALT and AST after TEVAR is lower than the preoperative(P<0.05). The average amount of BUN, Cr and cystatin C are higher than the normal range. Before the TEVAR, 31.7% of BUN is higher than normal, 30% of Cr is higher than noamal ,and the number in cystatin C is 35% .The BUN and Cr are lower in the patients after TEVAR (P<0.05) , but the decline was not obvious in cystatin C.
Conclusions For the patients with acute type B aortic dissection, the liver function and renal function both improved obviously after TEVAR.The immediate result of TEVAR in the patients of acute type B aortic dissection is good. The long term results is required for a larger sample.
