Clinical research of preoperative risk assessment of lower limb arteriosclerosis

Abstract:

Objective

To explore the preventive effect of preoperative risk assessment in perioperative complications of lower limb arteriosclerosis.

Methods

A total of 106 patients with lower limb arteriosclerosis were graded with POSSUM.Before operation,we improved the general condition of the patients with middle and high risk,and investigated items included operation information and postoperative complications.

Results

Of the 106 patients,58 patients(58/106,54.72%)got middle or high risk score.Operation success was achieved in 97.73% (86/88).There were 6.90% (2/29)patients in middle risk group suffered complications and 36.36%(4/11)patients in high risk group occurred complications.

Conclusions

Accurate risk assessment is contribute to reducing perioperative complications before operation.
